  We have been attending Earwood Karate Studios for over 17 years. There is no better studio in the Columbia area with as much experience as these folks have. Being in business for over 35 years speaks for itself. If you want qualified instructors in a Christian atmosphere than this is the place to go. The people are friendly and knowledgable. Do your homework about karate and the different studios before you enroll your child or yourself and I guarantee that you will end up at Earwood Karate Studios.

  My experience with Smokey Brown and his staff has been a very good on. Over the years I have had many closings with them and they have been nothing but caring, thoughtful of my clients, thorough and accurate. I can’t say that if every office that handled closings.   I am so thankful to God for the blessing of bringing us to Victory Bible Baptist church! And the blessing of it also having a Christian school.. At the time we joined Victory we had 4 children at home and really didn't know financially how we could afford to put 4 children in a private Christian School.. but God had it all figured out..and He has provided ever since.. (What a Great God we have!) We have been at victory for 15 years..and we still have one daughter who will be a senior next year! Praying and trusting God that our school will continue for many more years to come!

• Review of "Dutch Fork Middle School" at Irmo

  Giving an honest review, this school is not worthy of the Palmetto Finest award. While the teachers are mostly good, with a few sticking out there as rude, most of them have a good student-teacher relationship. The other staff, and admin, while strict, are also not entirely bad. However, the students themselves are completely unruly. There is a fight everyday and cussing and fighting gets no punishment, leading to even more trouble. Also, a lot of the students are very dangerous, some even giving school shooter threats, and the staff did nothing. In fact, they didn't even tell students the threat going on, so, if something had happened, we would be confused. The only reason this school won the Palmetto Reward was because all of the students and teachers were good at acting nice, and were probably bribed to do so. Overall, it's a lazy school, the students are very bad, some of the teachers don't even understand what they are teaching, and everything revolves around popularity, which includes if teachers like you and if you get student of the month. It's like the school rewards doing anything you want if it makes you popular with other popular people. Don't go to this school, unless your other choice is Irmo Middle School.
